Interested in nursing or other healthcare careers? All students are welcome to join HOSA members after school on Tuesday 2/18 at 3:40pm in Dr. Reiman’s classroom 5-203. Jennifer Dahle, RCTC Nursing Advisor will share program options available locally at Rochester Community and Technical College. Get your start at RCTC and fulfill prerequisite requirements for Mayo College of Medicine & Sciences, University of Minnesota Rochester and more! Learn more and get your questions answered on Tuesday
Rockets, don’t forget about the All You Can Eat Waffle Feed and Kiddie Carnival tomorrow from 9-1 in the JM Cafeteria. Have your fill of waffles for $10 a plate. All proceeds go to our Resilient Rocket fund.
Reminder, Spring Sport Registration starts on Monday, February 17th. If you have any questions, please stop in the Athletic Office and talk to Dakota.

Good Afternoon Rockets! This is your Thursday update from the Main Office.
JM PRIDE's meeting today will be moved to tomorrow after school in room 2-214. We will meet tomorrow morning like normal from 8:00-8:50 and after school from 3:35-5:30. Sorry for the inconvenience. Don't forgot to order your JM PRIDE t-shirts. Shirts will be available for pre-order until Friday February 28th.Stop by the booth in front of the Rocket center to pick up a forever flower bouquet. There are various sizes and types.
For those of you who had signed up to watch the movie today during periods 2 and 3. The movie will be shown tomorrow February 14th, during periods 2 and 3.

Crochet Club will meet in room 3-G07 after school today.

Seniors, an updated honors diploma list of students who have completed 12 or more honors credits has been posted outside the main office and on Mrs. Cobb's door. If your name is not on the list, please see Mrs. Cobb if you would like a credit check. Many students may still be eligible.
John Marshall's Fortnite team has qualified for the state championship for the third year in a row! Johan Lukong and Wyatt Mowry will be competing at St. Cloud State University for the championship this March. The team is now recruiting for the off season competitions throughout the spring. Come by the Library Computer Lab Mondays and Tuesdays for more information and to sign up!
The Rochester Rowing Club is having their annual Power Poll fundraiser on March 1st at 9 AM at RCLS. This is an indoor rowing competition on rowing machines.
If you want to try your hand at competing, feel free to sign up on their website by looking up Rochester Rowing Club. If not, feel free to show up and see what rowing is all about!

Juniors! We are offering ACT Prep as part of the after school program starting March 10. We will have full review sessions for English, Math, and Science, we will take practice tests, and you will have a chance to ask individual questions of English, Math, and Science teachers. Interested? Check out the QR code on the posters around school or on the flyer that your teacher has posted on Google Classroom. You can also email Mrs. Clarenbach or stop by 3-115 to talk with her about it.
Spring Sport Registration is opening next Monday, February 17th. If you are interested in playing a spring sport, the first step is having a sports physical done. You will not be able to register without one. Forms are located in the athletic office. Spring sports include baseball, softball, track and field, boys and girls golf, boys tennis, boys and girls lacrosse, boys volleyball and adapted co-ed softball. Registration will be February 17th-24th. Any questions, talk to Dakota in the athletic office.

Students this week is National FCCLA week! Look for exciting things that the students will be doing. It's never too late to join FCCLA!!
On Tuesday February 11th, we will play a school-wide game of Bingo 7th hour. You will get a paper bingo card from your 7th hour teacher or the office to play. If you get a bingo, run through the halls to the office yelling “I Love JM” to get a prize.
If you signed up to attend the Valentine's movie, you must pay $6 in the main office by tomorrow at 3:30 pm.
All flowers and candy grams need to be paid by tomorrow 3:30 pm.
