Nowhere to go but up for inspired John Marshall football team https://www.postbulletin.com/sports/prep/nowhere-to-go-but-up-for-inspired-john-marshall-football-team

Sports are wonderful way to be connected to your school. Thank you to John Bartucz and the Rochester soccer community for fundraising to support equipment needs for some of our players across all of our high schools! We can still use gently used adult size soccer cleats and shin guards, and new soccer socks. Items can be brought to JM Main Entrance. Thank you!

Thank you to JM alumni, Emma (class of '08) and her future Rockets for bringing in donations to the Community Room!

The flu vaccine will be offered at John Marshall through the School-Located Influenza Program on October 3. This program makes it easy and convenient to keep your child, the school, and the community healthy throughout the year.
The flu shot and nasal spray (FluMist®) will both be available this year.
Important information to know:
Registration is required to receive the flu vaccine.
Registration begins on August 9 and will end on September 13.
Online registration is preferred, but paper forms will be available at your child's school.
Registration forms will not be accepted after September 13.
To register online, go to semnic.org.
Non-medication pain-reducing options will be available.
Health insurance will be billed. If you don't have health insurance, your child can still get the flu vaccine at little or no cost.
Provide a reminder to your child the day before receiving the flu vaccine and have them wear clothing that allows access to the upper arm.
For more information about the School-Located Immunization Program, go to semnic.org.

Starting the day out right with a full school Pepfest!

The freshmen are spending the day learning how to navigate the halls of JM, where they go to for support, and meeting teachers, staff and friends .... all with a big infusion of Rocket Spirit. Thank you to our upper level Rocket Counselors for leading the day! You're awesome!!

Bring on the freshman!! We are so excited to see them today and have our upper level students counselors working with them!

Wow! Feeling the love from our JM alumni! Thank you to the Class of 2013 for collecting items at your 10 year reunion!

Are you digging through closets preparing for back to school? If so, we'd LOVE to have your gently used JM spirit wear, backpacks, jogger pants/leggings, athletic shorts, hoodies and football/soccer shoes. Please bring all clean items to the Main Entrance at JM during school hours or with your student. Due to limited space, please only bring items listed above and if in very good condition & teen styles. Yellow collection bins are at the Main Entrance. These items will help supply our Rocket Community Room. THANK YOU!

We can't wait to display the graphic work award winning designer, Lee Green of Greenhouse Graphix, created over the summer. More to come!

A HUGE thank you to the Class of 2003 for raising and donating $500 in gift cards for the Rocket Community Room at their 20 year reunion celebration!

Our English teachers had a little fun naming their new book carts. Vote for your favorite name!

The Rocket Community Room is a space in John Marshall that is open to all students. It is a space that supports students & families with basic need items, such as shelf-stable food, hygiene, school supplies and clothing. This space is completely funded through donations and we need your help restocking our shelves for the 2023-2024 school year. Please view the SignUpGenius link to see top needed items for starting the year - THANK YOU in advance!
