Rochester Public Schools and Mayo Clinic have partnered to provide back-to-school immunization catch-up appointments. This is a fast, easy, and convenient way to keep our children, schools, and community healthy throughout the year. You do not need to be a Mayo Clinic patient to receive the vaccinations.

As we're counting down the days until the start of the school year, we have some news to share with you. We are pleased to share that Kara Merrill will step into the Assistant Principal position for this upcoming school year!
Assistant Principal Dana DeWitz has accepted the Principal position at Jefferson Elementary and we wish her the best. We are confident that Kara will be a great addition to our staff and welcome her enthusiastically to Dakota Middle School!

The countdown to back to school is on! Save the date for our Step into Learning days at our elementary schools on August 28 and August 29.
Parents and guardians will make an individual 30-minute appointment in August (be watching for communication from your individual school soon). During this appointment, parents and guardians can meet their student’s teacher(s), have their student assessed, visit with the school nurse, set up lunch accounts, explore the school’s PTSA, and more.
